today I want to talk with you about “3” different body types in bodybuilding!
1. Ectomorph
traits of an ectomorph are:
- 1. – can eat without getting fat
- 2. – finds it hard to gain muscle
- 3. – fast metabolism
- 4.- thin, small chest
- 5. -typical “hard gainer”
Ectomorphs have a very fast metabolism and find it hard to gain weight.
when it comes to their workout, it should be short and intensive, focusing on
big muscle groups.
Ectomorphs needs a huge amount of calories in order to gain muscles.
It is easier for ectomorphs to cut after bulking season, as their fast metabolism makes them easly loose weight.
2. Mesomorph
traits of an Mesomorph are:
- 1. – Gains muscle easily
- 2. – athletic figure
- 3. – strong
- 4. – gains fat more easily than ectomorphs
- 5. – rectangular body shape
The mesomorph body type responds the best to bodybuilding.
Gains come along very easily and especially for beginners.
Unfortunately the mesomorph needs to watch out as they gain fat more easy than
an ectomorph.
A combination of cardio and weight training works wonders for this body type.
3. Endomorph
traits of an Mesomorph are:
- 1. – slow metabolism
- 2. – finds it hard to loose fat
- 3. – gains fat and muscle very easily
- 4. – round body shape
- 5. – is generally short
The endomorph body type gains fat very easily. They have usually thick arms and legs and a shorter figure.
Endomorphs are naturally very strong and of a solid body type.
Leg exercises are a simple thing for them.
NOTE: Most people tend to have a combination of two of the mentioned body types.
